Definition of Plagiarism:

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, ideas, or data without proper citation
  • Self-plagiarism (reusing one’s own published work without acknowledgment)
  • Paraphrasing without attribution

Screening Process:

All submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software.

Similarity Threshold:

  • Acceptable similarity index: maximum 20% (excluding references and common phrases)
  • Any manuscript exceeding this threshold will be returned to the author or rejected

Actions for Plagiarism:

If plagiarism is detected:

  • Before publication: manuscript will be rejected
  • After publication: article may be retracted

Serious ethical violations may result in notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions.
